When does a trip go on hold?

When it is a round trip (From and To are the same place), the amount is over your threshold, and no notes are attached. Turn on the stricter rule to hold one-way trips over the threshold too.

Are repeated identical trips flagged?

No. The same trip made several times is normal work. Each trip is checked on its own.

How it works

Amount. Miles times the rate, rounded to cents. The threshold is yours to set; nothing here assumes a policy.

Round trip. A trip where From and To are the same place, ignoring case and extra spaces. A round trip over the threshold with no notes goes on hold. Everything else is approved.

Stricter rule. If your policy wants notes on every trip over the threshold, turn on the toggle. One-way trips over the threshold without notes then hold too.

Repeats are normal. The same person making the same trip several times is ordinary work, not an error. Each trip is checked on its own and none is flagged for being a repeat.

Hold is a question, not a refusal. Every held trip comes with a ready message asking for the one thing missing.

Results update as you type. A trip with a blank From or To, or miles that are not a number, is held so someone can fix the line. Everything saves in this browser only.
