How it works

Reach first. Case, spacing and punctuation are ignored, so "To Do" and "to do" count as one value. Reach is the number of distinct places a value appears, not how many lines mention it.

Batches of ten. Values with reach 2 or more are ranked and cut into batches of ten for one decision sitting. Ties keep the order they first appeared. Values found in one place only are the tail.

Rule once, apply everywhere. Write each ruling once in the crosswalk, then apply it in bulk. The crosswalk starts empty on purpose: nothing changes without a ruling.

Checks, not rows. Rows with the same message, account, person and code share one fix, so they become one check with a stable ID. Each type gets an owner; a type with no owner is flagged until someone takes it.

Stop at the tail. When everything left touches one place each, decide whether it is worth clearing at all.

Results update as you type. Re-export after the fixes and paste again: cleared values should be gone and nothing new should appear. Everything saves in this browser only.

General guidance from practice, not legal, HR, or financial advice. Everything you type stays in this browser and is never sent to a server.
